Christopher Ballod to Join Webinar Discussing Retail Cyber Threats

Philadelphia, Penn. (July 1, 2020) – Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Partner Christopher E. Ballod will join a live webinar titled “COVID-19 and the Surge in Retail Cyber Threats,” hosted by Kroll, a Division of Dull & Phelps, taking place July 8 at 1:00 p.m. EST.

During the webinar, Mr. Ballod will speak about the rise in cyber attacks against retailers and how the COVID-19 pandemic has led to this increase, fueled by a surplus of e-commerce orders and remote working situations, pressuring cybersecurity teams to remain extra vigilant. The discussion will be anchored in real-world examples recently investigated by the speakers, including a range of attacks, from gift card scams to credit card skimming.

Mr. Ballod is a partner in Lewis Brisbois’ Philadelphia office. He frequently speaks on topics related to cyber attacks and data breaches, and is a regular contributor to the firm's Digital Insights blog.
