Christopher Ballod Receives CIPP/E Certification, Boosting Lewis Brisbois’ GDPR Capability

Philadelphia, PA (December 19, 2018) – Philadelphia Partner Christopher Ballod recently passed the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) exam, strengthening Lewis Brisbois’ ability to assist clients with cross-border data transfers and GDPR-related matters.

The CIPP/E is an ANSI/ISO accredited program offered by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) covering pan-European and national data protection laws, and practical concepts regarding personal data protection and trans-border data flows. The course also covers critical topics like the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and GDPR.

Mr. Ballod is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Data Privacy & Cybersecurity, Corporate, and Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practices. He regularly counsels clients in the prevention of data breach incidents, and during the response and notification process after an incident occurs.
