Charles Cole Profiled in CIO Today Magazine

Chicago, Ill. (May 31, 2023) - Chicago Partner Charles Cole was recently profiled in CIO Today Magazine, in a special issue focusing on "notable & empowered personalities revamping the future."

The article, titled "A Seasoned Trial Leader Shaping the Future of Law Enforcement," begins with a review of Mr. Cole's professional background - including that he has tried more than 80 cases to verdict involving multimillion-dollar exposures - and the many associations and organizations with which he is actively involved. Mr. Cole then discusses Lewis Brisbois, the firm's nationwide portfolio, and its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, telling the publication, "Our steady dedication to DEI (diversity, equity, and including) is what gives us an edge over our peers."

The article closes with some professional advice from Mr. Cole: "Find a place where you can be true to yourself and those around you. Learn from others who are teachers and not just managers. You may need to move around to find a satisfactory spot. Don’t be afraid to take risks while being careful. Most of all, practice in a manner that is honest and ethical. You will always be able to look yourself in the mirror and not doubt the decisions that you have made."

Mr. Cole is a member of the firm's Medical Malpractice team. He spends the majority of his time defending physicians and other healthcare providers. He also represents a variety of clients in matters involving professional liability, complex construction disputes, amusement claims, commercial litigation, transportation negligence, and general liability defense.
