Caroline Kim Quoted in 2Civility Article on Asian American Legal Careers

Chicago, Ill. (June 5, 2024) – Chicago Associate Caroline Kim was recently quoted in an article about Asian Americans in law, published by the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism (2Civility).

This informative article features perspectives from Asian American lawyers and law students in the State of Illinois on how law firms can support Asian American attorneys, and overall keys to success in the legal field.

Ms. Kim spoke about the importance of cultivating workplaces, and how the legal profession can dismantle systemic barriers by actively seeking out individuals from diverse backgrounds.

“The legal profession must promote and cultivate inclusive and supportive workplaces, thereby creating more just and equitable environments for success, regardless of background or identity,” said Ms. Kim. “Ultimately, this will enhance the ability of lawyers like me and others to thrive in an increasingly diverse and globalized world.”
