Alejandra Torres to Speak at Multnomah Bar Association Conference on Conducting Trials During COVID-19
Portland, Ore. (January 11, 2021) – Portland Associate Alejandra Torres will speak at the Multnomah Bar Association’s "Trials in the Time of COVID: A Practitioner’s Perspective" Conference on January 19 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. PT.
Ms. Torres, along with civil and criminal legal practitioners, will discuss what it’s like to conduct trials and arbitrations in the time of COVID-19, including real world experiences from appearances in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington. Ms. Torres was recently part of a trial team that secured a defense verdict in one of the first in-person jury trials to take place in Washington State since the pandemic began. Ms. Torres is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Labor & Employment Practice with a background in business litigation, complex commercial litigation, construction defect, and employment disputes.
