Alecia Walters-Hinds to Join Panel on Dram Shop Litigation

New York, N.Y. (April 16, 2021) - New York Partner Alecia Walters-Hinds will join a panel discussion titled “A Brave New World in Dram Shop Litigation,” hosted by Donna Bagi of Magna Legal Services and Larry Wolf of Exigent Limited on May 19 at 12:00 p.m. ET.

This virtual panel will cover a variety of topics related to dram shop litigation, including common misconceptions of jurors, juror reactions to key liability issues, and the impact of expert testimony. Ms. Walters-Hinds and her fellow panelists will also discuss best practices to test and assess risk in dram shop litigation as well as strategic and tactical considerations in an actual case study.

Ms. Walters-Hinds is a seasoned litigator and vice-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ General Liability Practice. Specializing in catastrophic, high exposure, and often quite sympathetic and sensitive matters, she has tried over 100 cases, achieving numerous favorable verdicts on behalf of her clients. Ms. Walters-Hinds has extensive experience defending and winning transportation and general liability cases, New York labor law, and long-term healthcare and medical malpractice cases. Most recently, she has successfully handled several matters related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
