3rd Eye Cam: Unmatched Driver Monitoring & Fleet Management By Alliance Wireless Technology, Inc.

Alliance Wireless Technologies, Inc. (AWTI) is proud to introduce their new state-of-the-art technology, 3rd Eye Cam to the Commercial Trucking Industry. According to Garry Mosier, “This technology can and will revolutionize the way fleets within the trucking industry supervise and coach their drivers.” Garry currently serves as Vice President of Operations at AWTI and was a former Corporate Safety Director in the trucking industry for over 40 Years.

The 3rd Eye Cam System has the capability to record drivers, monitor their driving behavior and provide live vehicle tracking during their daily routes. The camera/computer has “Advanced Video Analytics” software built into the unit, providing the ability to trigger 20-second video clips based on poor driving behavior. 3rd Eye Cam will automatically trigger an event when a driver is speeding, runs a red light or stop sign, tailgates, is distracted (cell phone, texting, etc) and/or intrudes into other lanes of traffic. An event can also be recorded based on G-force shock and vibration parameters, manual activation and predetermined boundaries set by a supervisor.

The 3rd Eye Cam System features a built-in forward facing camera to view the driver’s perspective along with an interior-facing camera to view both the driver and his or her surroundings. Furthermore, the customer can connect up to 6 additional cameras for a total of 8 cameras to be recorded simultaneously. When utilized, these additional cameras can provide a full 360-degree field of view, should an incident occur. Through constant recording via the 32GB Micro SD card, customers will have the ability to retrieve data on past events and/or claims. The video can be retrieved on the customer’s dedicated website and seen on a standard computer, iPhone or iPad. According to Garry Mosier, “The ability to never miss an accident or claim is an important feature that will benefit all Safety Directors across all industries. Having the ability to see the front, back and both sides of the truck is vital when trying to provide accident reconstruction. The HD quality video permits the customer to see the details of the accident, determine its root cause and settle the claim very quickly.”

The 3rd Eye Cam System also features a back office management program that includes geo-fencing and customized reporting to fit each individual customers needs. These reports and coaching tools help supervisors change unsafe driving behaviors with decisive corrective actions. The AWTI Managed Service Center is located in Dallas Texas and has trained professionals that review and score the video event clips. These specialists have a direct communication channel with supervisors to answer any questions and provide feedback when required.
