Sarkis Yeretsian

Associate

Sarkis Yeretsian is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property & Technology, Entertainment, Media & Sports, and General Liability Practices. More recently, Mr. Yeretsian was selected as Rising Star for his work in Intellectual Property, an award reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys in California, who have been in practice for less than 10 years.

As a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation team, Mr. Yeretsian has worked with a range of industries addressing common and uncommon disputes. Matters including breach of contract, breach of partnership agreements, misrepresentation, inter-company disputes, and unfair competition. Mr. Yeretsian has extensive experience working with officers, directors, and C-level executives in resolving disputes in an efficient and favorable manner. 

As a member of the Intellectual Property team, Mr. Yeretsian works with a number of startups and well-established large-scale corporations in matters involving rights of publicity, misappropriation claims, and licensing for advertising. Mr. Yeretsian has successfully defended a number of litigation cases centering around infringement claims and continues to be a vital source within the intellectual property space.

Mr. Yeretsian’s Entertainment work focuses on the transactional nature of preparing and negotiating agreements within the music world. He focuses on obtaining terms most favorable to the artist and there needs while balancing the nuances of a creative industry. 

Additionally, Mr. Yeretsian represents a number of Fortune 500 carriers and individuals in complex general liability matters. He focuses his practice in the following areas: Cases dealing with all scenarios arising under CGL and auto policies, including premises liability, construction site accidents, commercial vehicles, personal lines auto, liability for crimes committed on premises by unknown third parties, breach of warranty of habitability, fraud, and violations of business and professional codes. Practice includes a large number of catastrophic cases.

When not working with clients, Mr. Yeretsian enjoys traveling, attending events discussing the latest developments within the legal world, attending music events, and working with cutting edge tech companies to identify critical trends such as blockchain and generative AI.
