Eric Werner is an associate in the Portland office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Healthcare, Healthcare Regulatory & Compliance, Behavioral Health Practice, and Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practices. His practice focuses on healthcare litigation and health law including behavioral health, provider liability, regulatory compliance and risk management.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Eric worked as a Certified Law Student at a district attorney's office representing the state of Oregon in civil commitment hearings and criminal proceedings. This provided Eric with trial experience as well as insight into the involuntary commitment process. As an attorney at Lewis Brisbois, his background will allow Eric to understand how to best advocate for a client at each stage of the litigation process.

In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, trying new local restaurants, and experiencing Portland's theatre scene.
