Mark T. Vessio


Mark T. Vessio is an associate in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Medical Malpractice, Healthcare, Construction, and General Liability Practice Groups. 

Mark focuses his practice on complex and high exposure medical malpractice, and New York State Labor Law and construction litigation matters, representing a variety of clients including Emergency Medicine Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, General Contractors, Subcontractors, and property and business owners. Mark takes an aggressive approach towards litigation in order to obtain the best possible outcome for his clients. He has successfully argued summary judgment motions, negotiated a multitude of favorable settlements, and secured numerous voluntary discontinuances on behalf of his clients. 

Mark’s prior experience includes representing insurance companies in actions concerning property damage, products liability, and premises liability. Additionally, he represented construction parties in mechanic's lien matters and defended residential and commercial property owners and managers in premises liability litigation and personal injury matters.

Mr. Vessio graduated from Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and received his Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law with a Certificate of Concentration in Maritime Law. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
