Naya Urla is a partner in the Indian Wells office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Real Estate & Land Use Practice. Mr. Urla is a transactional attorney with more than 16 years of experience in advising and representing clients on all manners of real estate transactions, commercial loans, and corporate formation and governance.

Real Estate

Mr. Urla has a diverse real estate practice representing clients in all phases of commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Mr. Urla has represented buyers and sellers in the acquisition, sale and exchange of existing commercial facilities and unimproved real property for residential and commercial development. He has also represented buyers and owners who he has advised and assisted in getting real property entitled for various types of development projects including commercial facilities, residential subdivisions and airports; drafting easements, licenses and other nonpossessory property rights.

Mr. Urla has represented both landlords and tenants in lease negotiations for commercial projects, long term ground leases and airports.

Corporate and Business Practices

Mr. Urla has represented corporations, limited liability companies and other business entities in a wide range of matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate formation and governance, including mergers, shareholder agreements, shareholder/member redemption, dissolution and distribution.

Finance

Mr. Urla represents non-conventional lenders and borrowers. He documents secured and unsecured loans and loan restructures and advises lenders and borrowers on drafting commercial loan documents as well as advising lenders and borrowers on loan modifications, foreclosures, deeds in lieu of foreclosure and other workouts.
