Elizabeth (Liz) Trower is an associate in the Denver office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. She holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Liz served as a law clerk for Judge Lino Lipinsky on the Colorado Court of Appeals and then for Judge Stephanie Dunn, also on the Colorado Court of Appeals.
During her time at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Liz served as a senior staff editor on the DU Water Law Review and contributed to DU’s corporate and securities law blog, Race to the Bottom. Additionally, She interned with a federal court and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, among others, and spent a summer studying comparative corporate law in Sorrento, Italy.
Before law school, Liz worked for five years in nonprofit fundraising.
Liz earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern California, where she was awarded the Order of Troy for her exemplary extracurricular involvement.
