Nicholas Testa

Associate

Nicholas Testa is an associate in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the general liability practice. He defends corporate entities on a wide range of complex litigation matters. This includes representing general contractors and safety companies in construction accident cases brought under the New York State Labor Law; religious organizations in matters brought under the Child Victims Act; and transportation companies in motor vehicle accident cases.  He has a proven track record of zealous advocacy for his clients by using outside the box thinking to achieve the best possible result. Nick also values building relationships with clients so as to best understand their business and objectives. Nick’s practice extends to both state and federal court and includes significant experience with discovery, motion practice and the use of alternative dispute resolution. 

Before joining Lewis Brisbois, Nick worked for an insurance defense firm where he represented bars and nightclubs in dram shop actions and trucking companies in accident litigation, including for wrongful death. Nick graduated cum laude from Hofstra Law School where he was an Articles Editor for the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal; an intern for Hon. Leonard Austin of the Appellate Division, 2ndDepartment, and a research assistant on projects studying the judiciary. 

Nick was named to the 2023 New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Stars list by Thompson Reuters.
