Kellian Summers is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. Ms. Summers is experienced in all phases of litigation at the federal and state level with an emphasis on civil defense litigation. Ms. Summers focuses her practice on cases involving governmental entity defense, personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and premises liability. Her experience includes defending claims of constitutional violations such as excessive use of force, assault, battery, and false arrest/imprisonment, as well as defending claims of product defect, sexual molestation of a child, and dangerous condition of public property.
Ms. Summers earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School and received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Southern California. While in law school, Ms. Summers was Chair of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, President of the Criminal Law Society, and a member of the Public Interest Law Committee. She was the winner of the John G. Bonelli Civil Trial Competition and was the recipient of the “Excellence in Preparation for Trial Practice” Award from the American Board of Trial Advocates.
