Taylor Stewart

Taylor is the Administrative Partner in the Savannah and Atlanta offices of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability and Medical Malpractice Groups. Taylor focuses her practice on defense of medical providers, as well as automobile/trucking tort, premises liability, products liability, and other personal injury matters. Taylor has extensive trial experience in both the civil and criminal arenas in South Carolina and Georgia.

Taylor is originally from Elyria, Ohio. She graduated magna cum laude from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio after obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. At Ohio University, Taylor was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity.

After college, Taylor obtained her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law. During law school, Taylor received the Maynard, Cooper & Gale Best Senior Editor Award, the Student Farrah Law Society Dean V. Nathaniel Hansford Student Service & Leadership Award, and the George Peach Taylor Trial Advocacy Award. She served as a Senior Editor for the Alabama Law Review and was also a member of the law school's National Trial Competition Trial Advocacy Team.

Before joining Lewis Brisbois, Taylor gained valuable litigation and trial experience as a criminal defense attorney in Charleston, South Carolina and later as a litigator with a well-respected Savannah defense law firm.

In her spare time, Taylor enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband Jason and her two Great Danes, Murphy & Maisie.
