Bruce C. Smith is a partner in the Phoenix office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Medical Malpractice, Healthcare, and Long-Term Care & Elder Law Practice. Mr. Smith is responsible for a variety of healthcare matters involving medical negligence and violation of the Adult Protective Services Act (elder abuse). Mr. Smith has extensive experience handling medical negligence cases for doctors, hospitals and long-term care facilities. Mr. Smith also has substantial experience in representing healthcare providers in regulatory matters before state boards, and under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Mr. Smith has briefed and argued cases at the United States Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit, and the Arizona Court of Appeals, has first and second chair trial experience, as well as extensive arbitration and mediation experience.
