Kylene Slocum is an associate in the Seattle office of Lewis Brisbois and member of the Labor & Employment Practice.

Kylene is a Michigan native. Before joining Lewis Brisbois, Kylene worked as a Judicial Clerk at the 7th Judicial Circuit Court in Flint Michigan where she worked closely on what has been commonly known as the Flint Water Crisis. Prior to clerking, Kylene worked at the Federal Public Defenders Office for the Western District of Michigan.

Kylene received her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law. During her time at Michigan State, Kylene was an articles editor on the Michigan State Law Review, a member of the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, and student attorney at the Alvin L. Storrs Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from Albion College and graduated cum laude. Kylene was also an accomplished four-year varsity swimmer and team captain on the Women's Swimming and Diving team at Albion College.
