Partner

Lisa P. Shevlin is a partner in the Portland office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Healthcare, General Liability, and Labor & Employment Practices.

As an experienced civil litigator, Lisa regularly handles multimillion-dollar cases. Her cases range from board complaints to sexual misconduct claims and professional malpractice matters. Lisa also has experience counseling clients, preparing employee handbooks, and investigating claims. Lisa also has a background in Human Resources, prior to earning her law degree, and utilizes her experience in day-to-day operations and balancing various interests on the Labor & Employment matters she handles.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Lisa worked at a prominent law firm where her practice focused on medical malpractice and general liability defense. She has also worked as a plaintiff’s attorney and as in-house counsel for a large insurance company. This unique experience of handling cases from both sides allows Lisa to be an effective advocate for her clients. With a culturally sensitive lens and diverse background, Lisa manages complex cases from pre-claim investigation through trial.

Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys volunteering, spending time with her family, and learning new languages.
