Lisa P. Shevlin

Partner

Lisa P. Shevlin is a partner in the Portland office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment, Healthcare, Professional Liability, and Transportation Practices.

As an experienced civil litigator, Lisa regularly handles multimillion-dollar cases. Her cases range from employment related complaints to sexual misconduct claims and professional malpractice matters. Lisa also conducts healthcare and workplace investigations, and regularly provides advice and counsel for clients. Lisa’s background in Human Resources allows her to apply hands-on experience with day-to-day operations and balancing various interests for her clients and their businesses.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Lisa worked at a prominent law firm where her practice focused on medical malpractice and general liability defense. She has also worked as a plaintiff’s attorney and as in-house counsel for a large insurance company. This unique experience of handling cases from both sides allows Lisa to be an effective advocate for her clients. With a culturally sensitive lens and diverse background, Lisa manages complex cases from pre-claim investigation through trial.

Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys volunteering, traveling, and spending time with her family.
