Mariam Sher

Associate

Mariam A. Sher is an associate in the Albuquerque office of Lewis Brisbois. Ms. Sher is a member of the General Liability Practice Group.

Ms. Sher was born in Pakistan. She spent her childhood in Pakistan and Morocco. She moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 2002 with her family and attended high school and middle school there. Ms. Sher was valedictorian in high school, in a class of over four hundred people. Ms. Sher went to Emory University on a full academic scholarship. While at Emory, Ms. Sher was very involved, she founded the Arab Culture Club and Earth Club. Ms. Sher graduated top 20% of her from Emory University. Before going to Law School, Ms. Sher took time off to help refugees.

Ms. Sher attended the University of Iowa College of Law for law school. Ms. Sher was on honor roll during her time in Law School. She served as the Research Assistant for Associate Dean Adrien Wing during her time at law school. Ms. Sher worked at a civil defense firm handling cases involving bad faith insurance litigation and personal injury suit prior to joining Lewis Brisbois.
