Sarah Sakr

Associate

Sarah Sakr is an associate in the Orange County office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Construction Practice. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Sarah worked for a private defense firm representing public entities, including County of Orange, County of Los Angeles, and the City of Downey, in various civil suits involving personal injury and civil rights. 

Sarah earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Irvine in 2021. While attending law school, Sarah was a certified law clerk in the UCI Law Immigrant Rights Clinic and the OC Office of County Counsel in the Child Protection Unit. She also had a judicial externship with a bankruptcy judge in the Central District of California and participated in numerous pro bono projects. Additionally, she served on the Executive Board of the UC Irvine Law Review as the Senior Research Editor. Finally, as a student, she served as the Secretary for the Middle Eastern and South Asian Law Students Association and as a member of the Affinity Council. She also founded and co-chaired the Muslim Law Students Association. 

Prior to attending law school, Sarah graduated cum laude from the University of California, Irvine in 2017 with a double major in Criminology, Law, and Society and in Psychology and Social Behavior.
