Working on the insurance defense side as an adjuster for over 10 years and as legal counsel with personal injury cases has provided Mr. Rawlings a unique perspective and skill to effectively evaluate a case, assess a realistic outcome, and pursue that outcome in an effective manner whether that means settlement negotiations, arbitration, mediation, short trial, or a jury trial. Mr. Rawlings has handled cases involving nearly every injury and loss including complex traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, psychological injuries, loss of earning capacity and lost wages, claims for future medical treatment and damages, loss of consortium, etc.. Mr. Rawlings joined Lewis Brisbois as a partner in November of 2020.

Mr. Rawlings is a Las Vegas native. He graduated from Bonanza High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Japanese from Utah State University. After graduation, he eventually went to work as a third-party claims adjuster. His experience for the next ten years focused entirely on transportation. During this time, he investigated motor vehicle accidents alongside local law enforcement, the taxi authority, and was involved in accident reconstruction with local experts and experts across the country. In early 2001, he was involved in the testing and implementation of data impact devices with several Las Vegas taxicab and limousine companies to encourage reasonable settlements with local and nationwide attorneys, especially with minor impact accidents. Eventually, Mr. Rawlings became a claims manager. In that capacity, he resolved hundreds of personal injury cases, attended numerous arbitrations, mediations, and trials in Clark County, where he represented many insurance carriers across the country. With this background experience, he determined to attend Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. After graduation he worked as a Senior Litigation Attorney and Assistant General Counsel at Yellow Checker Star Transportation/New Cab.
