Michael Moss

Michael Moss is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. He has more than 16 years of experience in the areas of general liability, construction defect, and insurance law.

He handles general liability matters, including, but not limited to personal injury, construction defect, product liability, premises liability, wrongful death, professional negligence and defense of municipalities.

In addition to his other accomplishments, Mr. Moss successfully obtained summary judgment in favor of his client pursuant to his contention the plaintiff’s claims were barred by a federal statute (Quintero v. DM Equipment, Inc.). He also successfully co-chaired a trial in Los Angeles Superior Court wherein he obtained a complete defense verdict in opposition to plaintiff’s contentions the plaintiff sustained over $20 million in damages in connection with a personal injury accident which occurred on the plaintiff’s business premises. (Schapira v. Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc.).
