Matthew McCullough is an associate in the Sacramento office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice. In his practice, Matt frequently handles issues involving business litigation, products liability, and real estate.
Matt is a well-rounded litigator, having represented clients ranging from multinational Fortune 500 companies to local entrepreneurs in matters involving real estate, construction, premises liability, insurance, and products liability. Matt has hands-on experience litigating complex civil cases at all stages, including pre-litigation procedures, discovery, taking and defending depositions, mediations, arbitrations, pre-trial and dispositive motions, trial preparation, and post-trial motions.
Matt has strong initiative and is proactive in strategically addressing legal issues. He takes a collaborative approach to providing client service and is eager to help clients reach their goals. Sparked by his desire to provide better service to business clients, Matt is completing a Certificate in Leadership and Management from the Wharton Business School.
During law school, Matt gained judicial experience by externing for the presiding judge of a state court division, and he brings that insight from behind the bench to his litigation practice. Matt also competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court, winning a top ten best brief award Matt leveraged his fluency in Italian into an internship with an Italian law firm in Tuscany, Italy. Matt has consistently sought out challenging opportunities to hone his ability to communicate and to understand complex issues. Matt’s experience and international exposure give him a broad perspective and understanding of the issues clients face.
