Elaine McCormick

Associate

Elaine McCormick is an associate in the Sacramento office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice.

Elaine graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. During Law School, Elaine won the Stauffer Trust Writing Competition for her essay focused on California’s criminal justice policies. She also interned as a legal assistant in the Czech Republic during her first year of Law School and also studied in Austria under Retired Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. Elaine has a B.A. in Philosophy with a Concentration in Logic and Science from California State University, Sacramento.

Before joining Lewis Brisbois, Elaine participated in the Legislative and Public Policy Legal Clinic at the California State Capital where she drafted legislation. She also interned at the Sacramento Public Defender. Before Law School, Mrs. McCormick worked as a law clerk at a small firm in Sacramento where she focused on employment law and personal injury.
