Ryan P. Malone is an experienced trial associate in the Minneapolis office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Products Liability and Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practices.
Ryan has focused his practice on defending manufacturers of aviation and agricultural equipment, small business owners and insurance carriers throughout multiple jurisdictions in the Upper Midwest. He prides himself on his aggressive but collaborative approach to litigation, which has allowed him to secure fantastic outcomes for clients, whether through motion practice, mediation or even trial. Ryan has helped to secure total defense verdicts in products liability trials involving a twin-engine plane crash and the unintended release of anhydrous ammonia, both of which involved complex procedural and evidentiary issues. He also assisted in bringing a successful motion for summary judgment in an insurance dispute over a fire at a North Dakota oil field.
Ryan is grateful to be in the rare position as an associate to offer current and prospective clients extensive practical experience, including taking depositions, submitting oral arguments, and cross-examining witnesses at trial. He looks forward to building upon this experience to form long-lasting relationships with clients based on a thorough understanding of both their current and future goals.
When he's not at work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, live music, and playing basketball. As a lifelong Minnesota sports fan, he's always looking forward to next year.
