Matthew Lowery is an associate in the Roanoke office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. As a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Team, he assists clients in preparing for, responding to, and remediating data security incidents. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Mr. Lowery served as a supervisory prosecutor and was Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney in Virginia’s largest jurisdiction, where he handled and supervised criminal investigations involving and intersecting with the Stored Communications Act, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, and HIPAA. A graduate of the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, Matt is an award-winning instructor on matters involving Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment law.
