Jacqueline Leahy is an associate in the Portland office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. While completing an LLM in Banking and Finance at Queen Mary University of London, Jacqueline worked at a global foreign currency exchange company on numerous contracts pertaining to the GDPR, the CCPA, the NYDFS Cybersecurity Regulation, as well as software as a service and platform as a service. She also assisted in responding to data privacy and security matters. While completing her law degree, she studied at the London School of Economics, focusing on securities laws in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. Jacqueline now assists clients in complying with privacy laws and regulations, including the GDPR and the CCPA. Jacqueline also assists clients in facilitating responses to data privacy and security events.
