Mercedes LaPorchia is an associate in the Phoenix office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. Mercedes focuses her practice on auto accidents, premises liability, dram shop, intentional torts, and other areas dealing with general negligence. 

Mercedes has defended a variety of clients, including individuals, subcontractors, developers, and family-owned businesses from inception through arbitration, on both the defense and prosecution side. Previously, she managed a busy practice focused on construction defect, property damage and personal injury claims. 

As many can attest, Mercedes has a unique ability to identify issues and solve problems and is a zealous advocate. From case inception through resolution, Mercedes focuses on building strong relationships with her clients by involving them in developing litigation plan, maintaining proactive communication, and anticipating their needs. 

Mercedes attended law school in Orange County where she worked as an intern for the Orange County Public Defender. During law school, Mercedes was a member of the trial advocacy board, and earned honors for her participation in the 2014 San Diego Mock Trial Competition. Prior to attending law school, Mercedes obtained her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California
