Anna Kvinge is an associate in the Minneapolis office of Lewis Brisbois. She is a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she focused on data privacy throughout her legal education, working to edit, research, and prepare the Data Privacy book by Professor McGeveran for a second edition, a book taught in law schools across the country. For the project she researched changes not only in U.S. data privacy law, but global changes as well. Anna has also published pieces in the Minneapolis Star Tribune and Norway’s VG on “sharenting.” These articles outline the pitfalls of parental social media addiction, including the tendency to overshare private photos and details of their children online and the damaging personal and economic effects of this oversharing. Before entering law schedule, Anna graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2016, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Global Studies. She then obtained a Master of Public Policy at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota in 2017. She also speaks five languages – Norwegian, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, and English.
