Karen Kuo, M.D.

Karen Kuo is an associate in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice.

Her practice is concentrated on the defense of home health care agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and other general liability matters.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Dr. Kuo actively practiced medicine as a double-boarded internist and wound care specialist for decades, in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, detention centers, the community, and the military. She served as a lieutenant commander for the United States Public Health Services, during the Iraq War, and is a proud veteran. Her dual expertise has been instrumental in defending cases related to medical malpractice, negligence, personal injury, and nursing homes.
