James Kinack is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Workers’ Compensation Practice. James focuses on workers’ compensation law, specifically the following areas:

• Representation of insurance carriers, self-insured government entities, and employers before the Workers’ Compensation Board throughout the state of California. 
• Adjudication of cases up to and including trials before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).
• Involvement in all aspects of discovery, including but not limited to taking depositions of injured workers, drafting of med-legal interrogatories, cross-examination of medical experts, and reviewing of all evidence as it is received.
• Negotiation with the applicant and their attorneys in regards to settling the workers’ compensation claims and/or setting them for trial.
