Samuel Kennedy-Smith is a partner in the Providence office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and First Party Property Practices. Sam has extensive experience in the State and Federal Courts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts representing individuals, businesses, and insurance companies. His practice includes workers’ compensation, commercial litigation, premises liability, products liability, maritime/admiralty, dog bites/injuries, municipal law, transportation law, construction defects and accidents, employment, employment and housing discrimination and coverage analysis and litigation. Sam’s prior work experience includes time at a small general practice firm which handled workers’ compensation, administrative, criminal, civil, and family law matters. He has most recently worked as a member of the defense bar practicing in a wide range of areas including premises liability, commercial litigation, consumer actions, motor vehicle liability, construction accidents and defects, products liability, insurance coverage analysis and litigation, professional liability, and subrogation.
