Joseph F. Kampherstein, III

Associate

Joseph F. Kampherstein, III is an Associate Attorney in the Philadelphia office and is admitted to practice in the courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His practice includes personal injury, products liability, premises liability, construction litigation, motor vehicle and commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has been a contributing editor of the Pennsylvania chapter of the Tort Law Desk Reference: A Fifty-State Compendium, of the Pennsylvania chapter of the Product Liability Desk Reference: A Fifty-State Compendium and of the New Jersey chapter of Business Torts, A Fifty-State Guide, each published annually by Aspen Law & Business. Mr. Kampherstein graduated from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he was the Research Editor and a staff editor for the Temple Environmental Law and Technology Journal (now the Temple Journal of Science, Technology and Environmental Law). He graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Before entering law school, he worked as a research scientist for over seven years in the areas of Behavioral Neuroscience, Pharmacology and Immunology in academia and the private sector. He brings a strong scientific and medical background to his litigation practice, particularly in commercial disputes and personal injury cases involving laboratory products and practices, medical devices, and prescription pharmaceuticals.
