Jessica Kamish is a partner in the Seattle office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. Ms. Kamish has extensive experience litigating in a broad variety of areas, including insurance defense, commercial litigation, personal injury, premises liability, eminent domain, construction defect, timber trespass, environmental, and federal and state discrimination claims. Immediately prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, she worked for a mid-size insurance defense firm where she gained significant trial (both first and second chair) and arbitration experience, and had the opportunity to draft multiple appellate briefs and responsive petitions to the Washington Supreme Court. 

Her current practice focuses on defending complex personal injury claims including traumatic brain injury, and claims against long-term care facilities. Ms. Kamish has gained a reputation for building strong relationships with her colleagues both on the defense and plaintiff side, while tirelessly advocating and achieving the best results for her clients.

Representative Matters

• Secured summary judgment for Live Nation, the Grant County Sheriffs Office and Phish in a lawsuit in which the plaintiffs sought to hold the defendants liable for injuries they suffered at a concert when they were struck with rocks by unknown assailants. The court agreed with the defendants that they only owed a duty to invitees to prevent reasonably foreseeable harm, and the harm in question was not reasonably foreseeable.
