Karley Kamaris is an associate in the Newark office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Products Liability, Complex Business & Commercial Litigation, and General Liability Practices.
Ms. Kamaris focuses her practice on a wide variety of defense litigation including premises liability, products liability, automotive, and catastrophic injury. Ms. Kamaris began her career working as a criminal defense attorney before moving to an insurance defense firm where she gained experience in general litigation defense, while maintaining her criminal law practice in the form of municipal prosecution.
Ms. Kamaris has also represented corporate clients and insurance carriers in state and federal courts from inception through trial and has tried many cases to verdict throughout the Superior Court of New Jersey and has litigated in the District of New Jersey. She handles commercial landlord/tenant cases and has tried many eviction matters to verdict on behalf of various corporations.
Ms. Kamaris received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University and her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. Ms. Kamaris is licensed to practice in New Jersey and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
