Jack Jimenez is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. He defends employers in a wide range of employment litigation matters which include wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, breach of contract, and wage and hour issues, including the defense of class action lawsuits.
In addition to litigating in state and federal courts, Mr. Jimenez defends employers in arbitration, before the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB), and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE).
Mr. Jimenez also provides preventative counseling to employers on various employment related issues, including employee terminations and discipline, disability accommodations, drafting and auditing employee handbooks, preparing employment and severance agreements, and compliance with wage and hour laws.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Jimenez practiced at a national labor and employment firm in Los Angeles.
