Andrew A. Higgs


Andrew Higgs is a partner in the Orange County office of Lewis Brisbois and is a member of the Professional Liability Practice. Mr. Higgs specializes in products liability litigation and catastrophic injury defense cases. His products liability practice is focused on cases involving chemicals, heavy machinery and home appliances. Mr. Higgs also defends professionals in matters involving legal malpractice claims, as well as officers and directors of community associations in homeowner disputes. Additionally, Mr. Higgs defends property management companies in relation to premises liability claims. In both state and federal courts, he has successfully defended businesses in all phases of litigation, through trial.

Awards & Honors

While attending law school, Mr. Higgs actively participated in the Byrne Trial Advocacy Team; his team won the National Championship in 2001 and the Regional Championship in 2002. Mr. Higgs also received the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Distinguished Achievement in Trial Advocacy. Mr. Higgs was named a “Southern California Super Lawyer–Rising Star” for 2008 - 2010 by the publishers of Los Angeles Magazine and The Journal for Law & Politics.
