Ashley Heffernan is an associate in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. She handles a wide range of matters including construction litigation, general liability, commercial litigation, labor law, and premises liability. Ashley also has experience with maritime law and health care liability law. Ashley handles various construction and labor law cases, involving construction accidents, construction defect claims, code violations, and building and design related deficiencies. Her clients include owners, developers, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, and commercial landlords and tenants, among other clients. She has also represented doctors, healthcare facilities, charitable organizations, and city agencies. Ashley routinely retains highly-qualified experts in multiple disciplines in order to defend sophisticated matters on a variety of levels, thus contributing to successful outcomes for her clients. She has obtained positive outcomes for clients, including summary judgment and dismissal of claims with prejudice in the early stages of litigation.
