Charles S. Haughey, Jr. is a partner in the San Diego office of Lewis Brisbois. Chuck has experience defending clients against a range of civil claims in state, federal, and appellate courts. Most frequently, he handles personal injury and premises liability litigation, including wrongful death cases at trial; products liability litigation involving automobiles and car parts, trucks, construction equipment, medical devices, chemicals, and other products; and professional liability claims against attorneys, architects, engineers, and real estate and insurance agents. He has represented product manufacturers, distributors, and sellers; grocery stores, restaurants, and hotels; and public entities such as school districts.
In addition, Chuck has a deep understanding of construction law, and represents clients in litigation concerning construction defect claims and construction site accidents. He has also defended clients against environmental claims, including those related to mold, and has handled commercial litigation concerning banking and real estate contracts and transactions.
