Ben Hase is a partner in the Denver office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. His practice focuses on labor and employment advice and counseling, including diverse, complex items such as wage and hour law (FLSA), disability accommodation (ADA), medical leave administration (FMLA), discrimination issues (Title VII of the Civil Rights Act), and more. He has experience representing clients before federal and state administrative agencies such as the Department of Labor and California's Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, as well as during litigation before federal and state district courts in Colorado.

Acknowledged as a trusted advisor on labor and employment law matters, Mr. Hase brings over a decade of experience to the table for employers, which range from small businesses to multi-national corporations. His specialized experience working with and training professionals in human resources, government, and organizational leadership allows Mr. Hase to partner with employers to not only defend claims and work to avoid litigation, but also to develop and implement policies, training, and other preventative measures to effectively manage workplace disputes before they turn into expensive problems.

As an expert in his field, Mr. Hase has been honored with distinctions such as advising the Colorado State Senate on new labor and employment legislation. Mr. Hase's previous work as a state investigations manager also informs the advice he provides to employers in gathering and analyzing facts related to grievances and complaints, as well as his interactions with state investigators while defending his clients.
