Julia Harvey is an associate in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability, Healthcare, Medical Malpractice, and Transportation Practices. She currently handles a variety of cases that range from general liability to representing hospitals and long-term care facilities. She also has experience in Covid-19 litigation.

Ms. Harvey previously handled complex, high-exposure cases arising out of civil rights claims, property damage, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death as an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Harvey worked in the private sector representing New York City-area public and private hospitals, long-term care facilities, physicians, and other medical professionals in actions arising out of intricate medical malpractice claims. She also represented nursing homes and long term care facilities. 

While in law school, Ms. Harvey performed an externship with the United States Attorney’s Office, E.D.N.Y and the United States Postal Service Law Department.
