Jeffrey Harris, Jr. is the Administrative Partner in the Kansas City office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability and Labor & Employment Practices. Born and bred in the Midwest, Mr. Harris was in private practice in the Kansas City area for more than six years before joining Lewis Brisbois. He has extensive experience with cases involving premises liability, personal injury, transportation, employment disputes, property damage, construction, and insurance litigation.

Mr. Harris’ extensive knowledge and years of experience have allowed him the opportunity to develop successful client relationships in wide array of diverse practice areas. He strives to work closely and develop lasting relationships with every client, from individuals to Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Harris has successfully defended clients in state and federal courts in Kansas and Missouri for more than ten years. He has achieved favorable resolutions in hundreds of cases spanning from pre-litigation claims to mediation and all the way through arbitration and jury trial. He is well-versed in motion practice and oral advocacy, including successfully arguing for the almost unheard-of dismissal of a personal injury claim against a nationally recognized travel center in Missouri state court. Mr. Harris has also presented to the Kansas Bar Association and has written several articles and blog posts.
