Diana C. Hamlin is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and is a member of both the Medical Malpractice and General Liability Practices. Ms. Hamlin handles cases from inception through trial and arbitration. As a member of the Medical Malpractice department, she regularly represents physicians, surgeons, and hospitals in medical malpractice lawsuits. As part of the General Liability practice, she handles the defense of various general liability matters ranging from premises liability and negligence claims for hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs to personal injury claims for ridesharing entities. She is licensed to practice in all California state courts as well as in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hamlin worked as a civil litigator at various boutique law firms. She has significant experience in all facets of civil litigation and prides herself on client interface and honest evaluations.
While in law school, she excelled in oral advocacy and was a member of Moot Court Honors Board (MCHB). She also served as Secretary of the Hispanic American Law Students Association (HALSA), an organization she personally identifies with given her Cuban background and having grown up speaking Spanish.
Ms. Hamlin currently serves as a Steering Committee Member of the Southern California Chapter of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), an organization which is recognized as the primary source of professional liability educational programs and seminars, networking events, educational products, and information regarding professional liability.
