James T. Glendinning

Associate

James Glendinning is an associate in the Providence office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Workers' Compensation Practice.

James concentrates his practice in the areas of workers’ compensation and tort defense representing numerous national self-insurers, insurers, and third-party administrators throughout all stages of litigation at the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court, the Department of Industrial Accidents and in the District and Superior Courts. James’ prior work experience included representing plaintiffs and employees throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts on matters ranging from complex workers’ compensation cases to medical malpractice actions. There, he garnered appellate experience successfully handling cases in front of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. He has most recently worked for a regional defense firm where his practice areas included workers’ compensation, general liability, third-party recovery, and alternative dispute resolution. He also conducted numerous training seminars for clients on all phases of Massachusetts workers’ compensation practice and procedure.

While in law school, James was selected from the student body to compete as a member of the trial team in multiple interscholastic trial team competitions.
