Matthew Garrett-Pate is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. His practice focuses primarily on defending employers in individual and multi-plaintiff lawsuits regarding workplace discrimination, harassment, failure to accommodate, failure to engage in the interactive process, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois as an associate, Mr. Garrett-Pate participated in their Summer Associate Program. Mr. Garrett-Pate also worked as a law clerk at a Los Angeles-based firm representing labor unions in actions arising under the NLRA and as a law clerk with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Family Violence Division.
