Maria L. Garcia is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Bankruptcy & Insolvency Practice.

Maria graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. While in law school, Maria served as a production editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review, and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ellen Carroll (ret.), United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California. After law school, Maria served as a term judicial law clerk for the Honorable Richard M. Neiter (ret.) and Honorable Robert N. Kwan, United States Bankruptcy Judges for the Central District of California. Before joining Lewis Brisbois, Maria worked on a broad range of legal matters, including but not limited to bankruptcy, estate planning, trust litigation, and civil litigation.
