Amy L. Frerich


Amy Frerich is an associate in the San Diego office of Lewis Brisbois with extensive trial experience. Amy practices general liability, professional liability, products liability and white collar criminal defense. Amy has experience handling a wide range of complex matters through all phases of litigation. Through Amy’s experience handling all phases of litigation, combined with her extensive trial experience, handling over fifty cases through verdict, she is able to efficiently and effectively provide her clients with the legal advice and counseling they need. Amy is an aggressive litigator with a track record for attaining success for her clients.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Amy practiced as both a Deputy District Attorney and a private criminal defense attorney in Colorado, gaining extensive courtroom experience arguing dispositive motions on a near-weekly basis and litigating dozens of cases through jury trial. Amy also drafted briefs that were filed in the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court. Eventually Amy’s practice became more focused on personal injury and domestic relations matters, where she successfully mediated a multitude of financially complex matters, and litigated numerous others through final orders.

Amy also has a long history of community involvement. While working as a private attorney in Colorado, Amy handled several cases pro bono, volunteered with the Arapahoe County pro se clinic, assisted high school mock trial teams, and volunteered as a judge for Arapahoe County’s mock trial competitions.
