Angela Fox is a partner in the Wichita office of Lewis Brisbois and is a member of the Labor & Employment and Healthcare Practices. Ms. Fox is a trial lawyer with criminal and civil experience, having successfully prosecuted and defended numerous cases before state and federal courts in Indiana, Ohio, and Kansas. Before joining Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Fox worked closely with post-acute health care providers, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, home health companies, and hospice. She regularly consulted on matters of litigation, risk management, arbitration, and regulatory matters involved both state and federal agencies. In addition to litigation, she advised and assisted post-acute clients with regulatory survey compliance, investigations by the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit and/or the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and implementation of risk avoidance strategies. She has given regional and national presentations on post-acute litigation, regulatory matters, and trial strategy. While in private practice in Indiana, Ms. Fox focused on attorney recruitment and worked to establish and maintain Diversity Committees at law firms and bar associations in Indiana. She spearheaded a Diversity Internship Program, which sought to increase the number of diverse entrants to law school by sponsoring a summer internship program for diverse undergraduate students with an interest in law or healthcare. She remains committed to diversity and inclusion initiatives and mentorship opportunities. Ms. Fox also served as a Compliance Officer for a large Catholic healthcare organization, where she established corporate compliance programs, initiated investigations, conducted trainings, and ensured compliance with state and federal regulations.
