Daniel Feldman is a Partner in the New York and New Jersey offices of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Business Aviation, Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Tax Practices.
Mr. Feldman has over 7 years of mergers and acquisitions experience, assisting public and private clients with buy-side and sell-side due diligence, primarily focused on executive compensation and employee benefits. Mr. Feldman has particular experience advising client on executive compensation tax matters, including Section 280G golden parachute rules and mitigation strategies, Section 409A non-qualified deferred compensation, Section 402(b) US taxation of foreign pension plans, and Section 132 fringe benefits.
Mr. Feldman’s practice focuses on business aviation structuring and tax planning for large international corporations, private equity funds, ultra-high net-worth individuals, and family offices. Mr. Feldman has a breadth of experience navigating complex tax considerations, including for eligibility and utilization of accelerated depreciation, permissible deduction disallowance methodologies, and imputed income implications. Mr. Feldman recognizes the facts and circumstances of each client are unique and tailors his tax planning and strategy accordingly.
