Matthew E. Elmaraghi is an associate in the San Francisco office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation Practices. His litigation experience includes catastrophic injury, product liability, and complex litigation arising from residential and commercial losses; subrogation actions; wildfire litigation; and inverse condemnation litigation. These experiences have required his legal expertise when advising both public agencies and private corporations. Mr. Elmaraghi also served as law clerk to several governmental agencies and worked on matters that involved environmental law, energy, water rights, Native American law, regulatory law, the California Public Records Act, the Brown Act, government tort, employment, public finance, real property, construction, and contract law. While in law school, Mr. Elmaraghi presented at the 34th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland to lobby for issues surrounding the right to culture. Mr. Elmaraghi also served as an editor on the Maritime Law Journal, and was published in the Intellectual Property Law Bulletin.
